Mr. Charles Ray Wallace, age 73 of Ferguson passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Charles was born on July 13, 1939 in Burnside, Kentucky to the late George Norman and Ella (Flynn) Wallace. Charles proudly served in the United States Air Force for 4 years, and was retired from Tecumseh Products and World Wide Equipment. Charles also served on the Ferguson City Council for 4 years and he was a member of the Ferguson United Methodist Church.
Charles is survived by his wife of 51 years Betty Lee (Vaughn) Wallace, 4 children: Charles Norman (and Sylvia) Wallace of Elpaso, Texas, Tim Wallace and Ricky Wallace both of Ferguson, and one daughter: Kim (and Jeff) Prather of Somerset, one sister: Joella Wallace of Owenton, Kentucky, a brother-in-law: Ronnie (and Kathe) Vaughn and one son -in-law: Mark Meece. Charles also leaves behind 4 grandsons: Brandon (and Gina) Conley, Matthew (and Mindy) Hargis, Josh and Logan Wallace and 4 great- grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents ,a daughter Christy Wallace Meece, a brother Ralph “ Rassie “ Wallace and his father and mother in law Lee and Josephine Vaughn.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Parton, Bro. Michael Bryant and Bro. David Pendley officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Wallace will receive friends after 11:00 a.m. until time for services at Pulaski Funeral Home.
