Geneva Taylor

Mrs. Geneva Taylor, age 78, daughter of the late Bertie (Childress) and Delbert Hughes was born on August 13, 1934 in Smithstown, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Other than her parents Geneva was preceded in death by her husband: Howard Ray Taylor Sr., 4 brothers: Wilburn, Norbert, Orville and Sylvian Hughes. Geneva is survived by 2 sons: Howard Ray (and Kimberly) Taylor of Lexington, Kentucky, David (and Kelda) Taylor of Corbin, Kentucky, one daughter: Cindy Taylor and a sister: Faye Evans of Lexington, Kentucky. Geneva also leaves behind 9 grandchildren. Geneva was a member of Heritage Hope Church of God and was devoted to the Lord and her family. Geneva loved to travel, go camping, but most of all her grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Hope Church of God with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Geneva Taylor will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Heritage Hope Church of God.
