Joyce Faye Price, daughter of the late Walter and Hilda Dodson Burdine, was born September 11, 1950 and she departed this life on Sunday, December 2, 2012 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 62 years.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Lorenzo Price on December 31, 1986 in Jellico, TN. He survives. Other survivors include; two step-daughters, Sheri and Pam Price; two grandchildren, Jessica Emerld Hensley of Nebraska, and William Jeremiah Hughes of Somerset, KY; two great grandchildren, Gwyenth Anastasia Hensley and Blake Ryan Hensley both of Nebraska; five brothers, Walter Junior Burdine, Bobby Lee Burdine, Morris Richard Burdine, Wendell Frances Burdine, and Murrell Dean Burdine all of Somerset, KY; three sisters, Leona Katherine Sears of Louisville, KY, Juanita Ann Burdine of Somerset, KY and Patty Gossett of Somerset, KY and one half sister, Shirley Rose Caudell of Florida and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by; two brothers, Lonnie and Bethel Burdine; and two half brothers, Bunker Dale Hill and Danny Q. Hill.
Mrs. Price was a retired truck driver and drove for the Watkins Motor Lines for 10 years. She was a member of the Shepherds Chapel Church in Grafitt, Arkansas. She was also a member of the Waynesburg Order of the Eastern Star #501 and she enjoyed Crappie Fishing, Camping Cooking and Sewing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Private funeral services will be held today at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Lawson officiating, Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery.
