Mr. Gary Butch "Rhino" Burnett

Mr. Gary Butch “Rhino” Burnett, son of the late Elmer and Nancy Evans Burnett, was born on March 21, 1947 in Pulaski County, KY and departed this life at his residence on Saturday, November 24, 2012 having attained the age of 65 years. He was untied in marriage to Brenda Decker Burnett , she survives. Other survivors include; two daughters, Cindy Burks and Karen Allen; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by; two brothers, Bobby Burnett and Elmer Burnett, Jr. and two sisters, Opal Smith and Dorothy Colyer. Mr. Burnett was a member of the New Enterprise Baptist Church, he was also a member of the Pulaski County Rescue Squad fro many years and was a retired employee from Crane Plumbing where he served for more than thirty years. “Mr. Burnett enjoyed working with the people at Crane and he was considered a prankster. He was a kind person who will be missed by friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. George Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Lick Cemetery. The family of Mr. Gary Butch “Rhino” Burnett will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until time for services.
