Mrs. Aline Schoolcraft, daughter of the late Banlow Spears Sr. and Mollie Burton Spears, was born in West Somerset, KY on December 13, 1922 and she departed this life on Tuesday, January 15th, 2008 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 85 years.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Clinton Schoolcraft on September 27, 1962, he survives. Other survivors include; one daughter, Emma Lee (and Eddie) Smith of Somerset, KY; one step-daughter, Elizabeth (and Jim) Brooks of Burnside, KY; one step-son, Eddie (and Barbara) Schoolcraft of Somerset, KY; three brothers, Banlow Spears Jr. of Burlington, Kentucky, Raymond Spears of Crittenden, KY and Wendell Spears of Somerset, KY a special niece, Betty Jane Eastham and a host of grandchildren, and other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by; one brother, Delano Spears; and two sisters, Wilma Price and Helen Light.
Aline attended the Potters Place Baptist Church. She was one of the first ladies employed by Tecumseh Manufacturing and she retired from there following many years of service. She enjoyed many different types of needle arts including, but not limited to Quilting and Embroidery, and she also enjoyed traveling.
Funeral services for Aline Schoolcraft will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 18th, 2008 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Strunk and Rev. Doug Spears officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Aline Schoolcraft will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 17th, 2008.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
