Daisy Phelps Dykes

Mrs. Daisy Mae (Phelps) Dykes, age 62, of West Chester, Ohio formerly of Goodwater Community, daughter of the late Edith Marie (Bray) and Floyd L. Phelps was born on August 15, 1950 in the Goodwater Community and departed this life on October 31, 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Other than her parents Daisy was preceded in death by her brother: Kenneth Phelps and one sister: Helen June Phelps. Daisy is survived by her husband: Orville Dykes, of Cincinnati, Ohio, 2 sons: Chris (and Anne) Dykes of Houston, Texas, and David Dykes of Lexington, Kentucky, one sister: Shelby Phelps (and Evert) Randall of Somerset, Kentucky. Daisy also leaves behind 21 nieces and nephews and host of friends who all mourn her passing. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Butte officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodwater Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Daisy Mae Dykes will receive friends on Sunday, November 4, 2012 after 10:30 a.m. until time for services at Pulaski Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers family request expressions of sympathy be made to St. Jude’s Hospital. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Daisy Mae (Phelps) Dykes.
