Mary Wadkins

Mary B. Wadkins, daughter of the late Harvey Lincoln and Minnie Alice Valentine Clark, was born in West Virginia on March 31, 1924 and she departed this life on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 in Somerset, KY having attained the age og 83 years. She was first united in marriage to Mr. Albert Burns, he preceded her in death, and she later married Mr. Jack Wadkins, he also preceded her in death. Survivors include; two daughters, Emma Jean “ Sis” (and Larry Gene) Haynes of Somerset, KY, and Alberta Marie (and Ronald) Bunton of Drexel, North Carolina; one half brother, Bob Clark of Cleveland, Ohio; one step-brother, Ray Swaniger o f West Virginia; thirteen grandchildren, Sherry Burkett, Larry Gene “Bo” Haynes Jr., Connie Marie Foley, Tammy Whitaker, Ruby Ann Brown, Lora West, Roger Dale Haynes, Fayette Haynes, Terry Foley, Mary Lynn Pritchard, Debra Lynn Burns, Mary Ann Burns, and Robert Burns, sixteen Great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. Other than her parents and two husbands, she was also preceded in death by; one son, James Robert Burns; one brother, Ora Clark; two sisters, Lela Wells and Evanell Sims; one half sister, Margaret Johnson, and one granddaughter, Belle Jean Huffman. Mary was a homaker and she adhered to the Baptist Faith, she will be greatly missed and leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services wil be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2007 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Mary Wadkins will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 30th, 2007.
