Belle A. Ockert

Belle Arlene Ockert, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2007. She was 83. She was born on December 1, 1924 to the late Henry and Bessie Gornall. She was one of eight children. She is survived by sister Grace, 2 daughters, Kathy(&Terry) Mobbs and their 2 children Danny & Sarah Mobbs. Mary Singer and her children, Tina, Scarlett, Terry & Rebecca. Son Carl Jr.(& Pauletta) Ockert. His sons Carl Ockert III, Jeremy (& Chelsea) Ockert. His step children Amanda Nichols, & Hannah Singleton. She had many great grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband Carl Ockert, and a son, Charles “Chuckie” Ockert. Three of her sisters, Katherine, Alice, and Maggie. Three of her brothers, Jim, Henry & Phil Gornall. The family will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 11a.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens on Highway 80 west of Somerset, KY. In lieu of flowers, it is requested contributions take the form of donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.It is the families desire to take this opportunity to give many Thanks to the staff of Pulaski Funeral Home.
