Mr. Charles Roger Rimer, son of the late Walter and Ella Lee Rimer, was born in Sharonville, Ohio on February 11, 1930 and he departed this life on Sunday, December 2, 2007 in the presence of his family.
He was first united in marriage to Mrs. Lorraine Doan Rimer on January 16, 1954, she preceded him in death on June 25, 1985. He was later united in marriage to Mrs. Midge Vaught Rimer on February 11, 1995, she survives.
Other survivors include; two daughters, Rhonda (and Stan) Hill of Corbin, KY and Lisa (and James) Isaacs of Somerset, KY; two sons, Steve (and Coral) Rimer of Somerset, KY and Tim Rimer of Ely, Minnesota; four grand daughters, Rebecca Caine, Jessica Kruger, Jacquline Isaacs, and Amelia Isaacs; and one sister-in-law, Snoba Rimer of Eaton, Ohio.
Other than his parents and first wife, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dillard and Glen Rimer.
Mr. Rimer was a farmer and a retired truck driver and he was a member of the Nelson Valley Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and a kind person who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Charles Roger Rimer will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the Nelson Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Grant Hardwick and Rev. Kenny Daulton officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Charles Roger Rimer will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the Pulaski Funeral Home Chapel and from 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the Nelson Valley Baptist Church until after services. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nelson Valley Baptist Church Memorial Bible Fund.
