Paul Tarter

Mr. Paul G. Tarter, 66 of Newport News, VA, has gone to join his mother, Clara Tarter to be with our Lord, on November 30, 2007. He was born in Faubush, KY on August 18, 1941. Paul was a Vietnam Veteran who served 25 distinguished years in the U. S. Army retiring at the rank of Command Sargent Major. He also was the owner/operator of Warwick Motor Company and Vice-president of Alpha Omega Security. He is survived by his father, Hobert L. Tarter; his wife and best friend, Kathy Terry Tarter; 2 sons, John Tarter and wife, Missy; Sean Tarter and wife Stephanie; a step-son Steven Terry, Jr. , and 5 grandchildren; Holly, Corey, Olivia, Mason, and Morgan. The family will receive friends at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 06, 2007 until after the funeral services which will also be held at the church at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 6, 2007. Burial will follow in the Thomas Cemetery.
