Clifford Shadoan

October 17, 1922 — November 30, 2007

Mr. Lowell Clifford Shadoan, son of the late Lowell and Luana Mercer Shadoan, was born at Somerset, KY on October 17, 1922 and he departed this life on Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital having attained the age of 85 years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Flora Etherage Dunagan Shadoan on June 08, 1950, she survives. Other survivors include one son, Monty (and Sharon) Shadoan of Bronston, KY, one daughter, Lynn (and Steve) Shirley of Port Orange, FL, three grandchildren, Jennifer Shirley, Darcy Shirley and Kyle Shadoan, one brother, Earl Shadoan of Lawrenceburg, KY and one sister, Alice Sandidge of Whitley City, KY. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lester Shadoan and two sisters, Virginia Williams and Louanna Jones. Clifford was a World War II Army Veteran, and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. He was a christian individual and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who both mourn his passing and celebrate his homegoing. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2007 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Shadoan and Rev. Tommy Tapscott officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Lowell Clifford Shadoan will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2007 . It is requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Pleasant Hil Baptist Church Building Fund. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Lowell Clifford Shadoan.
