William Odell Cook, known as "Coalminer", 53 of Antioch Shores in Burnside, KY died on November 24, 2007 in his residence.
He was born in Roxville, Georgia on November 11, 1954, son of the late Ed Cook and Jean Clines. In addition, to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers, Debra Jean Cook of Somerset, Barbara Sue Branscum (and Rodey) of Ohio, Charles Cook of Somerset, and John Jr. Cook of Somerset.
He is survived by his ex-wife Mary Cook of White Lily and ex-wife, Joyce Jewell of Somerset and, his daughter, Tonya Gale Cook of Somerset, and step-daughter Jacqueline LeAnne Nevels of Somerset and step-son, Greg Lee Denham of Somerset. His sisters, Kathy Bundy of Somerset, Linda Gale Alton (and Harold) of Tateville , Alice Munde (and John) of Tateville, Joann Hill of Tateville. His brothers, James Cook (and Linda) of White Lily, Lyndon B. Cook of White Lily, David Cook (and Margaret) of Burnside, and several nieces and nephews and two dear friends, Ricky Brown and Sharon Brown of Burnside.
He was a coalminer, a frequent CB-er, and a Baptist of faith. Most significantly, he was a good father, a good brother, a good friend, and a great man. He will be sorely missed by all.
Visitations will be held at the Pulaski Funeral Home on November 27, 2007 at 4:00PM for family and 5:00PM - 8:00PM for friends. Funeral services will be at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 11:00AM followed by the burial at Gravehill Cemetery in Tateville..
