Zelma Deham Caylor

Zelma G. Caylor age 95 passed away on Nov. 15, 2007. She was born on December 11, 1911 to Marion and Valera McCloskey Denham. Zelma and the late Parker C. Caylor were married on October 5, 1935 at Pine Village, IN. She was a 1933 graduate of Ferguson High School, a retired employee of Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN, and a longtime member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Lois Ann Tomlison of Somerset, KY, Mary Ellen Smith of Richmond, IN, Ruth Ella (and Jack) Weldy of Eldorado, OHBetty (and Wayne) Buckler of Richmond, IN; 12 grandchildren, Jeff (and Susan) Tomlison of Gaston, S.C., Terry (Alice) Tomlison, Debbie Tomlison, Lisa Tomlison, and Penny Harris of Somerset, KY, Kevin (Teresa) Smith of Union City, IN, Jennifer Smith, Matthew (Amy) Smith of Richmond, IN, Christina (and Chad) Loveless of Pineville, KY, Jackson (and Lindsey) Weldy of Eldorado, OH, Jo and Andy Buckler of Richmond, IN; 8 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, several nephews and nieces; one sister, Ruth (and Glen) Hall of Blanchester, OH; three brothers, Gene Denham of New Lebanon, OH, Lawrence (Beulah) Denham of Cincinnati, OH, Dewey Denham of Ohio, she also leaves a wondeful church family and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Marion Walter Caylor; one son-in-law, Howard Tomlison; one grandson, Curis Lee Tomlison, two brothers, Obie and Ray Denham, and two sisters, Etta Erisman and Mary Rose Keller. Durin her life, she enjoyed her church activities, quilting, gardening, sewing and tending her flowers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2007 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Slate Branch Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Zelma Caylor will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Pulaski Funeral Home Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund or the Charity of ones choice. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
