Christine Williams, passed away at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY on the morning of November 05, 2007 following a lengthy illness. Ralph and Christine Williams presently reside at 54 Alice Lane, Science HIll, KY. Christine was born on November 30th, 1930 to the late Elizabeth and Clarence Fields. She was married for 60 years to Mr. Ralph Williams. They have two children; Cherry (and Phillip) Losey of Somerset, KY and Wayne Steve (and Deanna) Williams of Lake Jackson, TX. Christine has three grandsons, Phil Losey II of Science Hill, KY, Casey and Dylan Williams of Lake Jackson, Texas; and two great grandchildren, Dawson and Alisha of Lake Jackson, Texas. Christine has four sisters, Betty Fields, who is deceased, Peggy Lee Fields of West Terre Haute, Indiana; Shirley Cowdrey of Belleville, Illinois; Linda Deacon of Terre Haute, Linda Deacon of Terre Haute, Indiana; and two brothers, Paul Fields of West Terre Haute and Mike Fields of Libertyville, Indiana. Her sister-in-laws are; Beverly Ann Williams of Clinton, Indiana Patricia Long of Terre Haute, Indiana and brother-in-laws; Jerry Williams of Terre Haute, Maurice Williams of Terre Haute, Indiana and the late Wayne Williams. As a teenager, Christine worked as a candy sriper at St. Anthony's Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana assisting the nuns with the patients. She worked a short time during her 20's at Quaker Maid Food Factory. She spent most of her life being a good wife, homemaker and mother. She loved children and worked one year as a teacher aide at Crawford Elementary School in Terre Haute, Indiana. Later in life, she worked in her husband's construction office in Englewood, Florida. Christine spent most of her adult years with her husband in Florida where they lived in Ft. Lauderdale, North Fort Meyers, Florida and Englewood, Florida. Christine and Ralph raised their children in North Fort Meyers and lived in Florida for 40 years. Christine and Ralph traveled extensively throughout 47 states of the United Staes and also Canada and Mexico in their campers. They were both avid fishermen and they had homes on the ocean on the Gulf of Mexico in Englewood and the Caloosahatchee River in North Fort meyers. Christine and Ralph were members of the United Evangelical Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. John Mark Toby officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Christine Williams will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2007. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
