Larry (Dale) Dungan, age 57, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2007, at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born on August 25, 1950 at his home on the Bull Road, to Viola Rouse Dungan, and the late Frank Dungan.
He was a master plumber, and was the Job Superintendent for Green Mechanic Construction. He was a 1968 graduate of the Eubank High School and was a member of the High Street Baptist Church. He loved hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors, he also loved to sing.
Dale was married to Mrs. Vickie Tuggle Dungan on September 21, 1974., she survives. To this union was blessed by two wonderful sons, Gregory Dale (and Teya Colyer) Dungan and Patrick Glenn Dungan, both of Somerset, KY, and his grandson, Daylan Nathaniel Dungan, who was the joy of his life.
Other than his wife, sons and mother, he is also survived by three sisters, Frankie Bradley of Eubank, Nancy Broyles of Somerset, KY, and Betty Dungan of Eubank, KY and one brother, Bennie Dungan of Science Hill, KY, his mother-in-law, Alfreda Tuggle; his sister-in-law, Patty (and JOe) Dungan. He is also survived by a host of nephews and nieces, including a special niece, Amy Gibson and a special great nephew, Jordan Phelps.
Dale is preceded in death by his father,one baby daughter, Leslie Ann, his father-in-law, Arvis Tuggle and a brother-in-law, Jack Bradley.
Dale was a kind and much loved man, who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hall, Rev. Ron Shaw, and Bro. Greg Dungan. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery
The family will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2007. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
