Mr. Leo Stogsdill

Mr. Leo Stogsdill, son of the late M. F. and Zola Barnett Stogsdill, was born at Eula, Kentucky on August 31, 1934 and he was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 22, 2012 having attained the age of 77 years 10 months and 22 days. Survivors include; one brother, Delno (and Margaret) Stogsdill; two sisters, Pauline Sears and Althean Bolton all of Somerset, KY; two nephews, Jackie (and Paulette) Stogsdill, he was very close to his uncle Leo and held a special place in Leo’s Heart. And Delvin (and Juanita) Stogsdill; and one niece, Lois (and Phillip) Mounce. Other than his parents, Leo was also preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Willard Sears, and Cecil Bolton. Leo was a farmer and knew the meaning of hard work. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and family. He was a very kind person who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Tarter officiating. Burial will follow in the Whetstone Cemetery. The family of Mr. Leo Stogsdill will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012 until time for services. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Whetstone Cemetery Fund.
