Mr. William Whitis

Mr. William Whitis, son of the late Freeman and Erma Raney Whitis, was born in Somerset, KY on May 2, 1948 and he departed this life on July 20, 2012 having attained the age of 64 years, 2 months and 18 days. Survivors include, three brothers, Forest Lee Whitis, David D. Whitis And his wife Barbara, and Timothy K. Whitis all if Indianapolis, IN; one nephew, Bryan Whitis; and four nieces, Shannon, Patricia Sherry and Angela. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by; two nephews, Eric and Randall Whitis. Mr. Whitis worked as a mechanic and he enjoyed motorcycles and shooting guns. He was a kind person who will be missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the Whitis Family Cemetery in the Ano community where he will also be laid to rest following the graveside services.
