Alice M. (Shadoan) Sandidge

Mrs. Alice M. (Shadoan) Sandidge, age 94, of Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of the late Lowell and Luanna (Mercer) Shadoan was born on April 25, 1918 in Somerset, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Cumberland Nursing & Rehab in Somerset, Kentucky. Alice was united in marriage to Willard M. Sandidge on December 8, 1939, he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Lester Shadoan, Earl Shadoan, and Clifford Shadoan, two sisters; Virginia Williams and Louanna Jones. Alice is survived by two sons; James M. (and Sallie J.) Sandidge of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and John R. (and Ruth Ann) Sandidge of Whitley City, Kentucky, three grandchildren; John Michael (and Suzanne) Sandidge of Whitley City, Kentucky, Laura Lee (and Steve) Salzman of Fort Worth, Texas and Bradley J. (and Elena) Sandidge of London, England,UK. Alice also leaves behind six great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends who all mourn her passing. Alice was a Homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. C.E. Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Alice Sandidge will receive friends after 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 until time for funeral services at Pulaski Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Alice M. (Shadoan) Sandidge.
