Travis L. Wilson

Travis L. Wilson, the son of Russell and Connie Cowan Wilson, was born on December 23, 1990 and he departed this life on Sunday July 8, 2012 having attained the age of 21 years. His parents survive him, other survivors include; one brother, Shane (and Michelle) Wilson of Somerset, Kentucky; two sisters, Angel (and James) Ward of Somerset, Kentucky and Jody (and Ricky) Bowling of Monticello, Kentucky; his aunt and uncle, Loretta and Vernon Wilson; three nieces, Brianna Wilson, Mary Wilson, and Amy Walker; and two nephews, Nathan (and Jennifer) Bowling, and Perry Walker. Travis is preceded in death by ; one uncle, Ronald Lee Wilson; his maternal grandparents, Ed Douglas and Maudie Edith Cowan, and his paternal grandparents, Lester and Cleo Wilson. Travis was a wonderful young man who was God’s gift to the family “He taught us how to love.”. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him, and leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Cumberland Baptist Church on Omega Park Road with Bro. Raymond Ridner and Bro. Gary Elza officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Baptist Church Cemetery. The family of Mr. Travis L. Wilson will receive friends at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time for services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Pulaski Funeral Home in memory of Travis Wilson.
