Linda Jean Jones

Mrs. Linda Jean Jones, age 66, of Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of the late Charles “Buster” and Mary Frances “Frankie” (Smith) Cundiff was born on April 21, 1946 in Somerset, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at her residence in the presence of her family. Other than her parents Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by one brother; Charlie Mac Cundiff III. Linda was united in marriage on November 1, 1963 to her husband Donald W. Jones, who survives. Other survivors include one son; Charles “Chuck” Jones and his special friend Ople Reynolds of Somerset, Kentucky, two sisters; Carol Sue (and Jim) Bridgman of Somerset, Kentucky and Mary Joe (and Saint) Paul also of Somerset, Linda also leaves behind three grandchildren; Brett Jones, Evan Jones and Ethan Jones, one niece; Mary Beth Armstrong, three nephews; John Paul, Gary Cundiff, Rickey Cundiff and several great nieces & nephews who all mourn her passing. Linda was a member on the Somerset First United Methodist Church and also attended Barnesburg Baptist Church. Linda was former owner and operator of Linda’s Flowers. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse and Bro. Austin Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Linda Jean Jones will receive friends on Monday, July 9, 2012 after 6:00 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home.
