Mrs. Margie Merrick

Mrs. Margie Merrick, daughter of the late Vessie and Caldonia Johnson Hatfield, was born in Somerset, KY on February 27, 1926 and she departed this life on Monday, October 01, 2007 having attained the age of 81 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Etherd Merrick, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; one daughterSharon (and Bradley) Byram of Burnside, KY; one step-daughter, Rolaida Merrick of Monticello, KY; one grandson, Travis Merrick of Coconut Creek, FL; one granddaughter, Tiffiny Manuszak of Michigan; one great grandson, Kyle Manuszak also of Michigan, and two sisters, Retha Wood of Burnside, KY and Maxine Miller of Science Hill, KY. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by; one son, Craig Merrick; one step-son, Robert Merrick; five brothers and two sisters. Margie was a homemaker and she adhered to the Baptist Faith, she was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services wil be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. David baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Margie Merrick will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2007 and from 8:00 a.m. Friday until after services at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all funeral arrangements for Margie Merrick.
