Barbara Jene Jasper Wells

Barbara Wells, daughter of the late Willlie Gladstone and Zella Mae Vaught Jasper, was born on August 8, 1940 and she departed this life in Campbellsville, KY on May 29, 2012 at the Taylor County Regional Hospital having attained the age of 71 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Preston Wells, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; two daughters, Tammie (and Rodney) Copenhaver of Somerset, KY and Tina (and Roger) Byrd of Campbellsville, KY; two grandsons., Rodney Allen Copenhaver and Daniel Preston Copenhaver; and one step-grandson, Johnny Lee Byrd, also surviving are; four brothers, Glen Jasper, of Elizabethtown, KY, Guy Jasper of Bethelridge, KY, Carroll Jasper of Nancy, KY, and Danny Jasper of Somerset, KY, and three sisters, Reva Byrd of Shady Grove, KY, Loueva Clark of Bethelridge, KY, and Bonnie Wesley of Argyle, KY. Barbara was the former co-owner, along with her husband, of Circuits and Sounds Electronic Store of Somerset, KY she was kind lady and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and she leaves a host of relatives, friends and neighbors who mourn her passing. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
