Harrie Lynn Haynes, age 68, was born in Alpine, Kentucky on August 27, 1943 to the late Maude Pearl (Stout) and Harrie Lynn Haynes Sr.
Lynn was preceded in death by both parents, 3 sisters; Alma Lee Haynes, Ginger Rose Haynes Stanton and Mary Ellen Haynes Morrow Fink.
Mr. Haynes is survived by his 2 daughters; Briana Haynes Randolph (Jack Hamm) and Kara Haynes (Bryon Vaught), 6 grandchildren; Daylyn Sunshine Randolph, Kathryn Grace Hamm, Lauryn Elizabeth Hamm, Spencer Kate Vaught, Ella Kincaid Vaught and Ezra Harrison Vaught, 1 sister; Charlotte Jean Dungun (Ronald Dunagun), niece; Michele Brinegar (Bryan), nephew R.L. Dunagun and several other nieces, nephews and cousins, special friends; Donna Sue, Jason Murphy, Les Calhoun and Jimmy Howard.
Mr. Haynes served in the United States Air Force from 1962-1966 and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad and caretaker of Sloans Valley Cemetery and served as a Tateville Volunteer Fire Department from 1977-1986 and became a Firefighter Instructor on January 1, 1998. Lynn enjoyed wood working, farming, and cooking. He was a wonderful father and grandfather giving unconditional love.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sloans Valley Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Harrie Lynn Haynes will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard Post # 38.
