James Edward Vaught

Mr. James Edward “ Jim Edd” Vaught, age 81 of Somerset, Kentucky, son of the late Earl and Mary Katherine (Hatter) Vaught was born on July 15, 1930 in Somerset and departed this life on Monday, May 12, 2012 at the Somerwoods Nursing Home. Other than his parents Mr. Vaught was preceded in death by his wife; Mary Lou (Tarter) Vaught and one brother; Charles Vaught. Mr. Vaught is survived by 3 children; David Edward (and Rachel) Vaught of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Anna (and Karl) Whitis of Somerset, Kentucky, Billy (and Connie) Vaught of Somerset, Kentucky, 6 grandchildren; D.J. Vaught of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Melinda McNichols of North Carolina, Joshua Vaught of Somerset, Kentucky, Travis Vaught of Somerset, Kentucky, Shanda Whitis of Somerset, Kentucky and Heather Whitis also of Somerset, Kentucky. Mr Vaught also leaves behind 9 great grandchildren and one sister-in-law; Ruby Vaught of Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Vaught was a retired self-employed mechanic and wrecker driver and a Mason for 60 years and belonged to the Woodstock Masonic lodge 639. James will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Tarter officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. James Edward Vaught will receive friends on Thursday, May 17, 2012 after 11:00 a.m. until time for funeral services.
