Mrs. Virginia West Griffin Anderson, daughter of the late John Albert Ollie Wilma Calhoun West, was born in Pulaski County, KY on July 01, 1933 and she departed this life in the presence of her family on September 22, 2007 having attained the age of 74 years. She was first united in marriage to Mr. Delmer Griffin, he receded her in death, she was later united in marriage to Mr. Mack Anderson, he also preceded her in death. Survivors include; George (and May) Griffin of Somerset, KY, Mark(and Lucinda) Griffin of Nancy, KY, Charlie (and Stephanie) Griffin of Science Hill, KY, Mary Owens of Somerset, KY, Faye (and James) Helton of Science Hill, KY, Linda Beasley of Somerset, KY, Brenda (and Victor) Taylor of Nancy, KY, and Glenda (and Shannon) Catron of Shopville, KY.; 23 grandchildren, David Hall, Virginia Abrams, Samantha Renner, Marcus Griffin, Rocky Griffin, D.J. Goff, Amy Bradley, Bruce Owens, Richard Beasley, Kayla Beasley, Donald Paul Jr., David Beasley, Dustin Goff Helton, Tyler Jones, Jessica Catron, Mackayla Jones Griffin, Hailey Griffin, Tommy Griffin, Shane Griffin, Naomi Gamble, Melissa Cure, Jessica Taylor and Kim Helton; and 25 great grandchildren with the newest great grandchild, being Brylee Ann Marie Beasley, who was born on September 21, 2007. Also surviving is one sister, Mildred Wallace, and one brother, Ray West, both of Somerset, KY. She was a homemaker and she adhered to the Baptist Faith, she was a kind, and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Other than her parents and two husbands, she was also preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Anderson, and Francis Marie Griffin, one son, Delmer Lloyd Griffin, one sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home, burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Virginia Anderson will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2007.
