Zinnie Floyd Todd

Mrs. Zinnie Floyd Todd, age 91 of Nancy, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Zinnie was born June 15, 1920 in Delmer, KY to Elcas and Rosa Lee Clifton Floyd. She married Paul Todd on Dec. 23, 1937. Zinnie worked at Palm Beach and was a member of the Sardis Methodist Church. She was loved and esteemed by all who knew her. After she retired, she dedicated her time to serving others and gardening. She grew fantastic flowers and vegetable gardens. Aunt Zinnie shared generously with family and friends and even those just passing through who stopped to marvel at her beautiful accomplishments. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a twin sister, Glenna Floyd Tarter of Boswell, IN. Survivors include; two sisters Geneva (and Jimmy) Rice and Dorene (and Logan) Tarter; caregivers, Flonnie & Tommy Todd, and Jeanie and T.W. Todd and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. The funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Pierce and Bro. Chris Jasper officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Zinnie Todd will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time for services at the funeral home.
