Mr. Joseph Edward "Joey" Sexton

Mr. Joseph Edward “Joey” Sexton, son of the late James Paul and Helen Ann Pence Sexton, was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 18, 1958 and he departed this life on Thursday, April 12, 2012 having attained the age of 53 years. He was united in marriage to Lela Sexton on January 8, 2011, she survives. Other survivors include; two step-children, Jonah Moore of Ferguson, Kentucky and Pascal Moore of Somerset, Kentucky; one brother, Jeffery (and Lisa) Sexton of Ferguson, Kentucky; one sister, Paula Reed of Somerset, Kentucky and four step-grandchildren, Landon Crabtree, Haley Moore, Andrew Moore and Stephen Moore. “Joey” was a member of the Highpoint Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and he worked in several service related jobs in the past several years. He was a kind, Christian man who loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral home with Rev. Mike Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Joseph Edward “Joey” Sexton will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Monday until time for services at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
