Mrs. Christy Wallace Meece, age. 41, daughter Charles Ray and Betty Lee (Vaughn) Wallace was born on May 15, 1970 in Somerset, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Christy is survived by her parents, husband; Mark Meece, 2 brothers; Timothy Ray Wallace of Somerset, Ricky Wallace of Somerset, 1 sister; Kimberly (and Jeff) Prather of Somerset, Kentucky, 1 uncle; Ronnie (and Kathe) Vaughn of Somerset, 1 aunt; JoElla Wallace of Owenton, Kentucky, She also leaves behind the following nieces and nephews; Logan Wallace, Brandon (and Gina) Wallace, Josh Wallace, Matthew Hargis and Shaylee Wallace. Christy is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; George Norman and Ella Wallace, maternal grandparents; Lee and Josephine Vaughn and 1 uncle; Rassie Wallace. Christy worked as a caregiver at Oakwood and a member of Ferguson Methodist Church. Christy loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Parton and Bro. Mike Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends after 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2012 at Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services. In lieu of flowers family request expressions of sympathy take the form of donation to Ferguson Methodist Church.
