Mae Bernice Emerson

Mrs. Mae Bernice (Luttrell) Emerson, age. 87, of Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of the late James Oscar and Dollie Mae (Delk) Luttrell was born on March 17, 1925 in Casey County, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Other than her parents Mae was preceded in death by her husband; Glenn Emerson who died on February 19, 1994, 8 brothers; Beecher Luttrell, Elmer Luttrell, Avert Luttrell, Floyd Luttrell, Wilbur Luttrell, Harding Luttrell, Roscoe and RC who passed at infancy, 6 sisters; Bertha Childers, Ruby Dunn, Ersiee Cooper, Clara Turner, Edna Potts, Sadie Flint. Mae is survived by 2 daughters; Betty Peterson of Somerset, Kentucky, Peggy Sharpe of Bardstown, Kentucky, 2 brothers; Argil Luttrell of Windsor, Kentucky, Ronald Luttrell of Pomona, California and 1 sister; Zimmer Walden of Champagne, Illinois. Mae also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews who all mourn her passing. Mae was a member of Northside Church of Christ and was a homemaker. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. John Baxter officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery. The family of Mae Emerson will receive friends on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 after 11:00 a.m. until time for services.
