Mr. Nathaniel Wayne Brake, the son of Kathy Lewis Brake Johns and Terry Wayne Brake, was born in Somerset, KY on November 1, 1989 and he departed this life on Monday, April 2, 2012 having attained the age of 22 years. He was united in marriage to Alexandra Derringer Brake, she survives. Other survivors include his mother, Kathy Lewis Brake Johns and her husband, Charlie; his father, Staff Sargent Terry Wayne Brake and his wife Mary Lou, one son, Carson Porter Brake, one brother, Joshua Lee (and Brandy) Brake of Eubank, KY, three step-brothers, Scott (Lilla) Cook of Somerset, KY, Robert (and Shannon) Colyer of Radcliff, KY, and Michael (and Jessica) Colyer of Somerset, KY; his paternal grandmother, Anna Geraldean Brake and her fiancé Danny Jennings, his maternal grandfather; Delbert “Tupie” Lewis. He is also survived by the following aunts and uncles; Mary Ann (and James) Wesley, Debbie (and David) Linville, Karen (and Tim) Strunk, Tommy (and Sherry) Brake, Billy Lewis, Danny (and Kim) Lewis, Davis (and Marky) Lewis, and Michael Lewis and host of family and friends who all mourn his passing. Preceding him in death is his paternal grandfather; Porter Brake, Jr. and his maternal grandmother; Shirley Ann (Morrow) Lewis. Nathaniel worked as a general mechanic for St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He enjoyed computer and video games, and loved his son and family very much. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Nathaniel Wayne Brake will receive friends on Friday, April 6, 2012 after 5:00 p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Nathaniel Wayne Brake.
