Mr. Carl Calhoun

Mr. Carl William Calhoun, son of the late Jessie and Dorothy Cook Calhoun, was born in Pulaski County, KY on February 16, 1934 and he departed this life on Monday, March 26, 2012 having attained the age of 78 years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Mary Ann Dykes Calhoun, she survives. Other survivors include; one son; Dewayne Calhoun of Somerset, KY; two daughters, Wanda (and Norma)Burchfield,and Patricia Colson; three step-sons, Robert (and Cindi) Mounce of Laurel County, KY, James Mounce and Charles Mounce both of Somerset, KY; one step-daughter, Joann Glover; one brother, Stanley Calhoun, and one sister, Geneva Pince. 21 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by; one daughter, Norma Ann, and three brothers. Carl Willaim Calhoun was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him, when he was actively working, he enjoyed laying brick. He leaves a host of relatives, and friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Dallous Sears officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. The family of Mr. Carl Calhoun will rceive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday night and from 12:00 noon Thursday at the church until after services. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Carl William Calhoun.
