Mrs. Dorothy Lee Turner

Mrs. Dorothy Lee Brown Turner, daughter of the late Marvin and Florence Hall Brown, was born in Pulaski County, KY on February 3, 1913 and she departed this life on Thursday morning, March 15, 2012 at the residence of her daughter in Eubank, Kentucky, having attained the age of 99 years.She was united in marriage to Mr. Robert Turner. He preceded her in death. Survivors include; eight children, Marvin (and Imogene) Turner of Somerset, KY, Pauline (and Bass) Wesley of Science Hill, KY, Shirley Colyer of Eubank, KY, Nellie Molen of Faubush, KY, Herman (and Helen) Turner of Somerset, KY, Anna (and Joe) Colyer of Cincinnati, OH, Peggy (and Mike) Sumner of Science Hill, KY and Marlin “Bimbo” (and Sandy Rose of Science Hill, KY; one brother, Dallas Brown of Science Hill, KY; 55 grandchildren, and a vast host of great grandchildren and other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; Four children, Flora Mae Hollars, Robert "Howard" Turner, Ruth Ann Wesley, and Connie Mae Redding; four sisters, Nell Hollars, Susie Turner, Josephine Stevenson, and Ophaline Sneed; and three brothers, Elmer Lee Brown, Kirby Brown and Colyer Brown. Dorothy was a kind lady who loved her family, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sumner Family Cemetery at Science Hill, KY.The family of Mrs. Dorothy Turner will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Sunday until time for services.Pulaski Funeral home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Dorothy Lee Turner.
