Dalton, Luttie (Scrimager), age 86, of Dayton, Ohio, and formerly of Nancy, Kentucky, passed away on March 7, 2012 in Bourbonnais, Illinois.
Luttie was born January 5, 1926, in Nancy, Kentucky, to George and Dora Ellen Scrimager.
She married Merl T. Dalton on November 28, 1946 and worked for General Motors at the Inland plant as a braider for almost 30 years. She was a member of Shelter Community Church of the Nazarene in Dayton, Ohio. Luttie loved her family and friends, and she enjoyed spending time with and cooking for them. She was also an expert seamstress.
Luttie was preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers, 10 sisters, her husband, Merl, and her son Leslie.
She is survived by her sister Maudie (Bill) Stroube, her son Ron (Martha) Dalton, her grandsons John (Melissa), James, and Stephen Dalton, and by her friends and extended family.
A visitation will be held at Tobias Funeral Home in Beaver Creek, Ohio, on Sunday evening from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Monday evening at Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning at Pulaski Funeral Home with a brief viewing at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in Somerset at Lakeside Memorial Gardens beside her husband.
