Mike Manning

Mike Manning, the son of Jim Manning of Somerset, Ky and and Yvonne Branscum Goff and her husband Cecil of Burnside, KY; was born in Waukegan, IL. on April 06, 1968 and he went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 20, 2007 having attained the age of 39 years. Other than his parents, he is survived by; his Paternal Grandmother, Opal Ballou Manning; a very special friend, Becky Matias of Somerset, KY; the following aunts and uncles, Pamela (and J.C.) McDowell of Burnside, KY, Lena (and Noble) Hampton of Somerset, KY, Gary (and Trish) Manning and Mike (and Julie) Manning all of Norwood, OH, Barbara (and Larry) Calhoun of Somerset, KY, Sherry Lynn Meece of Somerset, KY and Tina Manning of Somerset, KY. Mike was preceded in death; by his Maternal Grandparents, Vera and Aaron Branscom, his paternal grandfather; Homer Manning and his aunt; Brenda Weekly. Mike loved hunting and collecting Indian Artifacts. He was a member of the Neely's Creek Baptist Church and he was a graduate of Pulaski Couny High School, and Kentucky Tech. He also had completed Robotics training in Japan and he also attended the Cumberland Bible Institute. He was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who morn his passing. Funeral Services will be held at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2007 with Rev LeRoy Goldson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Mike Manning will receive friends at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2007 and after 8:00 a.m. Thursday until after services. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
