Ruby Lee Wilson Gosser

February 16, 1919 — December 20, 2011

Mrs. Ruby Lee Wilson Gosser, daughter of the late Moses Asbury and Berthetta Chumbley Wilson, was born on February 16, 1919 and she departed this life on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 having attained the age of 92 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Arthur Monroe “Roe” Gosser on September 5 1945 in Jamestown, Kentucky. He preceded her in death. Survivors include; four daughters, Kay (and David) Spillman of Somerset, Kentucky, Jeanie (and Mark) Rice of Knoxville, Tennessee, Peggy (and Pat) Picard of Anderson, South Carolina, and Cindy (and Steve) Rogers of Montpelier, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Forrest Spillman, John and Tyler Picard, Millie Rice, Mark Daniel (and Mary) Rice, Emily (and Michael) Pillow and Claire Rogers; one great grandchild, Mason Pillow; and one special sister-in-law, Bonnie Wilson. Other that her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Marvin, Hubert, and Lewis Wilson (he died in World War II) and one brother who died in infancy; and one sister who also died in infancy. Mrs. Gosser was a member of the First United Methodist Church . She was a kind lady who will be missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who both mourn her passing and celebrate her homegoing. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m.on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Ruby Lee Wilson Gosser will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Thursday, until time for services.
