Bobby Joe "Bob" Denham, 69, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the residence of his daughter Pamela in Newburgh, Indiana with his wife and children by his side.
He was born in Nancy, Kentucky on September 14, 1942, son of the late Clifford "Tom" and Mary Elizabeth Dick Denham. He was well known for his career in banking with First & Farmers National Bank, Community Trust Bank and Cumberland Valley Bank, all in Somerset. He was a member of Langdon Street Baptist church. He loved Gospel music, especially Bluegrass Gospel and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mildred "Millie" Benge Denham of Somerset, son, Joseph Scott & (Jami) Denham of Rockport, IN, daughter, Pamela Elizabeth & (Wayne) Phelps of Newburgh, IN, four grandchildren, Caleb Joseph Denham, Abigail Grace Denham, Aaron Michael Denham and Christina Elizabeth Phelps, brother, Bernie & (Trudy) Denham of Nancy and sister, Madonna & (Don) Burton of Nicholasville, KY.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. James Floyd officiating.
Burial will be in West Somerset Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8:30 PM Tuesday at Pulaski Funeral Home.
