Mr. Arlin Miller, son of the late James Randall and Minnie Brummett Miller, was born on September 26, 1925 in Russell County, KY and departed this life on Friday, November 12, 2011 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 86 years.
He was united in marriage to Maxine Hatfield Miller on September 12, 1952, she survives. Other survivors include; two children; JoAnn Taylor and her husband Lin, and Danny Miller and his wife Brenda; three grandchildren, Tina Dodson, Bobby (and Brook) Baker, and Jessica (and Nick) Hibbard; and eight great grandchildren, Triston Baker, Samuel Baker, Megan Barnes, Austin Dodson, Ashley Dodson, Chloe Hibbard, Madison and Collin Hibbard; and three great great grandchildren, Jazzlyn Dodson, Kelsey Barnes, and Brayden Dodson.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter; Sherry Miller; five sisters, and one brother.
Arlin was a Korean war veteran and a member of the Heritage Hope Church of God. He was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post # 38.
The family of Mr. Miller will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m..
