Tony Lee Brumback, age 52, departed this life on Thursday, October 27,2011 at his residence. He was born on January 8, 1959 in Somerset, Kentucky and was the son of the late Allen Brumback. Tony was retired from the US Navy and was a former ROTC instructor at Russell County High School. He is survived by his beloved daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Ryan Bell and grandchildren, Jordan and Aiden Bell all of San Antonio, TX: his sister, Deborah (and James) Westfall of Somerset, KY; his brother, Michael (and Debi) Brumback of Sanford, FL; his niece, Toni Michele Brumback and Emily of Sanford, FL; his nephews, Jonathan Jeremy Smith of Lexington, KY and Alan (and April) Brumback, Aaron and Andrew of Debary, FL; and his lifelong best friend, Donald (and Kathy) Lee of Somerset, KY
Tony received salvation through Jesus Christ his Lord, and loved to tell everyone he came in contact with about the goodness of his Savior. He was an inspiration to many, and his love for God, family and country will be greatly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2011 with Bro. Alan Brumback officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery at Nancy, KY following the services. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 38.
