Mrs. Ruby " Juanita " Merritt

Mrs. Ruby M. “ Juanita ” Merritt, daughter of the late Lewis and Dorie Goff was born in Cincinnati, OH on October 4, 1926 and she departed this life on October 14, 2011 having attained the age of 85 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Cecil Merritt , he survives. Other survivors include a large host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by; seven brothers, George, Jackie, Avery, Carson, Bennie, John and Jimmy Goff; and one sister, Geneva Merritt. Ruby was a homemaker and a member of the Poplarville Baptist Church. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Merritt and Rev. Marvin Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Merritt Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Ruby M. Merritt will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday October 16, 2011 Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Ruby M. Merritt.
