James "Tittle" Soard

Mr. James “Tittle” Soard, age 76, of Somerset, Kentucky, son of the late Cye and Addie Colyer Soard was born on June 18, 1935 in West Somerset, Kentucky and departed this life on Monday, October 10, 2011 at his residence in the presence of his family. Other than his parents Mr. Soard was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Janie Soard Thomaston and Rebecca Ann Soard, 1 brother; Rev. Ray Soard and 1 sister; Hazel New. Mr. Soard was united in marriage on July 12, 1954 to his wife; Betty Jo Parnsons Soard, she survives. Other survivors include 4 sons; Bobby (and Pam) Soard, Don Soard, Roger Soard, and Ronnie Soard all of Somerset, 2 sisters; Mildred Hall of Somerset and Beulah Girlder of Crescent Springs, Kentucky. Mr. Soard also leaves behind the following grandchildren; James Douglas Thomaston, Shawna Soard, , Roger Dale Soard, Ashley Soard, Cassie Soard Dixon, Mike (and Whitney) Soard, 6 great grandchildren, a very special niece; Kathy Stephenson and a host of relatives and friends who all mourn his passing. Mr. James Soard was of the Pentecostal Faith and worked as a Livestock dealer. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Stephenson and Bro. Rick Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Mr. James “Tittle” Soard will receive friends on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 after 6 p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. James “ Tittle” Soard.
