Lucille Haynes

Mrs. Lucille Haynes, age 84, of Somerset, Kentucky daughter of the late Piercy and Mable Ballard Waddle was born on March 3, 1927 in Alcalde, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was united in marriage to Mr. Felix “Marcey” Haynes on February 14, 1947 he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 1 son; Marshal Bruce Haynes. Mrs. Lucille Haynes is survived by 3 sisters; Oveline (and Bill) Sumner, “Tooter” Higginbotham, Barbara Sue Hall all of Somerset, 2 nephews; Brad and Joey Hall both of Somerset, 1 niece; Julie Taylor of Castle Rock, Colorado. Mrs. Haynes also leaves behind a dear and special friend; Jim Holloway and a host of friends and family who all mourn her passing. Lucille was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church and was a homemaker. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Stacey and Rev. Glen Singleton officiating. Burial will be held in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Lucille Haynes will receive friends on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home.
