Mr. Michael Claxton, age. 52, of Somerset, Kentucky, son of David and Verna (Childers) Claxton, he was born on January 23, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio and departed this life on Thursday, September 15, 2011 in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Claxton was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Mark Allen Claxton, Darren Jo Claxton and 1 sister; Virginia Fern Claxton. Mr. Claxton is survived by 1 brother; William R. (and Cheryl) Claxton of Somerset, Kentucky, 2 sisters; Donna Kay Sowders of Science Hill, Kentucky and Patricia Lynn Claxton of Dayton, Ohio. Michael also leaves behind 2 nieces Shawuana F. Bailey, Monica Claxton, 3 nephews; Darren Claxton, William Claxton, Jesse Claxton and a host friends who all mourn his passing. Mr. Claxton loved to travel and walked all over. He was a free spirit and loved life and lived it to fullest. He was a kind person who will be missed by all that knew him. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Poplarville Cemetery. The family of Mr. Michael Claxton will receive friends on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home.
