Ama Lee White, daughter of the late Andrew and Rosalie Pitsenbarger Campbell, was born in Bellborn, West Virginia on December 27, 1924 and she departed this life on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 86 years.
She was united in marriage to the Late Rev. Farrada White, he preceded her in death in December of 2010. Survivors include; one son, William Lester (and Sharon) White of Bolt, West Virginia; two daughters, Patricia (and Charles) Reed of Somerset, Kentucky and Jane (and Dana) Sublett of Alden, IL; Nine grandchildren, Charles, Wesley, Gregory, Theresa, Randy, James, Bill Jr., Troy and Angela.
One sister, Lorena Brooks of Fairdale, West Virginia, and 14 great grandchildren.
Ama Lee was a salesperson for Hallmark for many years, she was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; five brothers, Eugene, Darrell, John, Curtis and Earl Campbell and three sisters, Nola Simms, Verna Rhodes, and June Underwood.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2011 in the Mausoleum Chapel of the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dewey Lowe officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum.
The family of Mrs. Ama Lee White will receive friends at the Mausoleum Chapel at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens from 1:00 p.m Sunday until time for services .
