Mr. Boyd Dick

Mr. Boyd Dick, son of the late Joe and Bertha Wallace Dick, was born in Pulaski County, KY on March 4, 1952 and he departed this life on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 in Lexington, KY having attained the age of 59 years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Carolyn Bates Dick, she survives. Other survivors include; three step-sons, Bobby, Michal, and Paul Meece; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Logan, Andrew, Paul, Christian and Peyton Meece; two sisters, Kathleen Dick and Edna Godsey both of Science Hill, KY; two brothers, James Dick of Somerset, KY and Billy (and Nancy) Dick of Science Hill, KY and a host of other relatives and friends. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Christine Baugh, Irene Spaw, Paulene Dick and Imogene Dick. Boyd adhered to the Methodist faith, and he enjoyed Hunting and Fishing, he was a vietnam Veteran and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Beech Grove Methodist Church with Burial to follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. The family of Mr. Boyd Dick will receive friends at the Beech Grove Methodist Church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time for services. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 38. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
