Robert Carter

Mr. Robert Carter, age. 88, of Somerset, Kentucky son of the late George and Mary Poe Carter was born on November 7, 1922 in Lockland, Ohio and departed this life on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home. Other than his parents Mr. Carter was preceded in death by one brother; Donald Carter. Mr. Carter is survived by his wife of 65 years; Dorothy (Boehl) Carter, 2 sons; Dennis (and Cindy) Carter of Hamilton, Ohio, Terry (and Mary) Carter of Middletown, Ohio, 1 daughter; Bonnie (and Harold) Cable of Lebanon, Ohio and 1 brother; Kenneth (and Jackie) Carter of Reading, Ohio. Mr. Carter also leaves behind 2 grandchildren; Dallas Carter of North Carolina, Jamie Namett of Liberty Township, Ohio and a host of friends who all mourn his passing. Mr. Carter was a retired Stationary Fireman and attended Bronston Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors and animals. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Butte officiating. Burial will follow in the Bronston Baptist Church Cemetery. The family of Mr. Robert Carter will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 until time for services at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Sunrise Manor and also Hospice of Lake Cumberland for all the care and support they provided for Robert.
