Sybil Woodall, age 86, was born on December 31, 1924, in Somerset, KY. She was the daughter of the late S.F. and Marsella Farmer. She departed this life on August 14, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital with her family at her side.
She was a charter member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church at Welborn, KY. Shge loved her church and church family. She enjoyed going to church as long as her health would permit.
She was a former employee of Louise Florist, Somerset Florist, and she retired from Convenient Food Mart following 17 years of dedicated service.
Survivors include; four sons, Gary (and Doi) Woodall of Maysville, KY, Barney (and Deloris) Woodall, Jim (and Connie) Woodall and Ronnie (and Margaret) Woodall, all of Somerset, KY; two daughters, Gina (and Doug) McMullin of Eubank, KY and Pati Brinson Sutton of Somerset, KY; thirteen grandchildren, Dawna Wade, Kurt (and Erika) Woodall, Shannon (and Tammy) Woodall, Dougie (and Amy) McMullin, Shellie Brown, Ronnie (and Layla) McMullin, Donnie Brown, Jamie (and Christy) Woodall, Gina Marie (and Gary) West, Josh Woodall, Boyce Woodall (and His fiancee, Tasha), Jayme Barker, Jessica (and Eric) Taylor; twelve great grandchildren, Tyler Wade, Travis Wade, Shantelle Woodall, Dakota Jo McMullin, Yancy Wesley, Alexia McMullin, Payton Brown, Ethan Porter, Dresden McMullin, Kennedy Woodall, Malaysia Hocker, and Morgan Woodall; three brothers, Ralph (and Jean) Farmer, Stanley Boy (and Carolyn) Farmer and Price (and Renae) Farmer; one sister-in-law, Una Farmer, and a very special friend, Berniece McMullin.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husbands, Delmer Woodall, and Johnny Brinson; one brother, Boyce Farmer,; one sister, Maxine Miller and her beloved grandson, little Jimmy Woodall.
She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. If anyone needed her, she was right there to help. She leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn her passing.
The funeral services for Mrs. Sybil Woodall will be held at the Pulaski Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2011 with Bro. William Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Bobbitt Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Sybil Woodall will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5:30 pm until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday Evening, August 16, 2011.
