Dewell Orville Flynn

Mr. Dewell Orville Flynn, age 81 of Nancy, Kentucky, son of the late Orville and Sadie Flynn was born on February 11, 1930 in the Norfleet Community and departed this life on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Fair Oaks Health System in Jamestown, Kentucky. Dewell leaves behind a loving wife of 64 years; Sophia Burkett Flynn. They were united in marriage on July 18, 1947. They have two surviving sons; Weyneth (and Susan) Flynn, Steve (and Brenda) Flynn, four grandchildren; Anthony Flynn, Brandon Flynn, Jeremy Flynn and Sabrina Stephens. Dewell also leaves behind four great-granddaughters and one sister; Dorothy Muse. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Wanda Baker and Dempsey Denham. Dewell was a farmer in the Norfleet, Kentucky and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Harris and Bro. Lester Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family of Mr. Dewell Flynn will receive friends on Monday, August 15, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Tuesday Morning after 10:00 a.m. until time for services at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
