Mr. Clyde Beckham “C.B.” Hoff, Jr. of Alpine, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011. C.B. was born August 24, 1930 to the late Clyde and Ollie Ross Hoff.
He was retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad, he was a Korean War Navy Veteran, a member of the Burnside Masonic Lodge, and a proud and active member of the Neeley’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
C.B. leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years; Nancy Jo Hanna Hoff; five children, Rebecca Hanna (and Glenn) Wesley of Junction City, Sandra Lafaye (and Donnie) Gooch of Stanford, Michael Ross (and Kim) Hoff of Warner-Robbins, GA, David Brian Hoff of Alpine, and Dianna Rose-Hoff Owens of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; the following grandchildren, Nathan, Jon and Dustin Wesley, Kevin and Eric Hoff, Chance Gooch, Melanie Hoff Sanders, Savanna Mounce, Willian Thompson, Jennifer and Jon-Michael Jenson and Don Gooch, Jr.; the following great grandchildren, Alexis Lynn Wesley, Alexis Paige Wesley, Connor Wesley, Jackson Sanders, Maddy Sanders, and Robert Gooch. He also leaves behind; his sister, Gloria Monday and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and two great great nephews, cousins and his church family who mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Beckham “C.B.” Hoff will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Neeley’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church, burial will follow in the Neeley’s Creek Cemetery with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post # 38.
The family of Mr. C.B. Hoff will receive friends at the Neeley’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, August 12, 2011 after 6:00 p.m.
Masonic Services will be observed for the family of Mr. Hoff at 5:30 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2011 at the Church by the Masonic Lodge # 634
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Building Fund of the Neeley’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
