Mr. James Frank Childres

December 4, 1924 — August 7, 2011

James Frank Childres, son of the late Reggie Franklin and Mattie Smith Childres, was born in the Ringgold Community of Pulaski County, KY on December 4, 1924 and he departed this life on Sunday, August 7, 2011 having attained the age of 86 years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Pearlie Katherine Hall Childres, she survives. Other survivors include: three sisters, Lois Wilson, Louise (and Frank) Cooper, and Sadie Roberson. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, and three sisters. Mr. Childres was of the Baptist faith, a World War II Veteran and a retiree of General Motors. He was a kind person who will be missed by all who knew him, he leaves a host of other relatives, and friends who mourn his passing. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. At which time they will travel to Lakeside Memorial Gardens for the services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. James Frank Childres.
