Mr. Phillip Turner Neal, son of the late Estil and Phoebe Welch Neal, was born in Pulaski County, KY on May 16, 1934 and he departed this life on August 5, 2011 having attained the age of 77 years.
Survivors include; Mirada Kirby of Pittsburg, KY; three daughters, Kathy (Steve) Brockman of Richmond, KY, Karen Sparks of Gray Hawk, Kentucky and Lisa (and Keith) Baker of Annville, KY; six grandchildren, Jonathon (and Terra) Bingham and Jason Bingham also of Broadhead, KY, Kari (and Matthew) McCarty of Pleasant Point, West Virginia, Sydney Sparks of and Jordan Baker both of Richmond, and Airman 1st Class Tyler Baker of Robbins Air Force Base, GA; four brothers, Clarence (and Georgia) Neal of Bethel, OH, Hershel (and Martha) Neal of Mt. Julliete, TN, Alvin (and Brenda) Neal of Somerset, KY, and Jerry (and Wilma) Neal of Whitley City, KY; two sisters, Jean (and Delmer) Barnett of Whitley City, KY and Shirley (and Raleigh) Sizemore of Pine KNot, KY, one sister-in-law, Joann Neal, and one brother-in-law, Bud Rogers as well as a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives who mourn his passing.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by; three brothers, John Neal, Roy Neal and Hubert Neal; two sisters, Julia Rogers and Versa Gingerich ; and one sister-in-law, Helen Neal .
Mr. Neal was a self employed man who enjoyed all aspects of construction and building. He was a member of the Grave Hill Baptist Church and was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Grave Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Grave Hill Cemetery. The family of Mr. Phillip Turner Neal will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until time for services at the Church.
